Using clips from EBEA TV as lesson starters
Ready for the start of next term Kevin Abott suggests showing clips of some of the videos in the EBEA TV section of the website
How about reintroducing your A2 Economics group to lessons by giving them a dose of the ‘Undercover Economist’ and showing them Tim Hartford’s talk? Or using Levi Roots’ or Fraser Doherty’s inspirational talks to introduce a new GCSE group to the personal qualities and characteristics of an entrepreneur? When teaching about globalisation and emerging markets, how about using some of the clips from Ian Marcouse, Colin Bamford or Sam Gurney’s presentations?
Access to videos is for members only.
How do I find out what’s on EBEA TV?
All TV recordings were from EBEA conferences from 2007 onwards (2012 conferences are still being edited but should be ready for the start of term). The Events Archive in the Events & Network section gives descriptions of all the presentations and where there is a video it is shown with the video logo.![]()

I know there is a video I want but how do I find it?
On the EBEA TV home page there is a search button.

Use key words in the search window that pops up. These could be the name of the speaker or you could use key terms such as globalisation, enterprise, acounts or recession.
