Improving Learning by Focussing on Variation - Peter Davies and Richard Dunnill

Most available advice on how to improve students’ learning and raise their grades comes in the form of generic strategies that are expected to be applied in a similar way across all subjects: e.g. setting targets; using starter activities; taking account of learning styles. But what matters most is whether students really understand topics in business and economics in the way that we want them to. Why not focus on the heart of the matter?
