Research
There are three strands to this unit which is designed to support the department manager as well as to encourage research into business, economics and enterprise education.
The first strand is a repository for high quality papers recently written by colleagues and PGCE students in England and Wales following a Masters level course in 2008/9. These papers have been identified as high quality and consequently it is hoped they may be of use to department managers for their own personal development and to provide data for management issues they are facing. These papers are likely to be published in a professional journal in the future.
The third strand is intended to give guidance to colleagues who may be facing for the first time the requirement to undertake in-depth research. You will find an article giving guidance on the process of carrying out research along with reading and reference lists.
The third strand is a selection of research papers which are recommended reading as exemplars.
