2008 - Learning Study and ITE Conference - October 2008
Learning Study is a way of looking at teaching and learning that has the potential to really change the way in which teachers and students think. It involves teachers working together to develop lessons where critical differences between ways of understanding Business Studies topics are highlighted.
This practical, subject focused approach puts learning objectives right at the heart of lessons, focuses on looking at connections between crucial ideas and encourages teachers to question what they thought they knew about what to teach. There is mounting evidence that it works too in terms of improving the depth of both student and teacher understanding.
